MY BIO・自己紹介

Born and raised in America to Japanese parents! I grew up speaking Japanese in the house and English outside.

Anime has always been a part of my life. I started taking theatre classes from sixth grade, and fell in love with acting. At the same time, as an Asian I faced difficulties getting roles. This is when I realized that with voice acting, the actor is able to play any role without having to look a certain way-- I could be any character I wished to be. Ever since then, I was determined to move to Japan, study voice acting, and become a voice actor.

After graduating from the University of Florida with a BA in theatre, I moved to Japan. I enrolled and graduated from the Tokyo Announce Seiyu Academy. However, I was still unsure of how to actually start my career. One day during the state of emergency, I forced myself to buy a mic, and just start. And, well, here I am today. My dream is finally coming true, little by little, and I am so thankful and excited! I can't wait for what is yet to come!

　アメリカ生まれ、アメリカ育ちの日本人です！小さい頃からずっと家の中では日本語、外では英語を喋っていました。

　昔からアニメが好きで観ていました。そして6年生の頃から選択授業で演劇を学び始め、魅了されました。しかし、アジア人としてアメリカで役を頂くのは難しかったです。その時、声での演技なら人種や見た目が関係なく、どんなキャラクターにでもなれる事に気付きました。それ以降、私は日本に引っ越して、声の表現や技術を学んで、声優になる事を決意しました。

　フロリダ大学芸術学科演劇部を卒業して、日本へ引っ越しました。その後東京アナウンス声優アカデミーに通い、卒業。しかし、具体的にどうやってキャリアを始めるかまだわかりませんでした。緊急事態宣言中のとある日、自分を説得して取り敢えずマイクを買って、始めて見ました。そして、今に至ります。夢がちょっとずつ叶っていて、本当に感謝感激雨霰です！これから何が起こるかも楽しみで仕方がないです！

I graduated early with BA in theatre, minor in Spanish, and a TESL certificate!
