MY BIO・自己紹介

Born and raised in America to Japanese parents! I grew up speaking Japanese in the house and English outside.

Anime has always been a part of my life. I started taking theatre classes from sixth grade, and fell in love with acting. Soon thereafter, I started paying attention to who was behind the characters that I admired so much. I was astonished by how one actor could portray such a wide range of characters (and things!). Ever since then, I was determined to move to Japan, study voice acting, and become a voice actor.

After graduating from the University of Florida with a BA in theatre, I moved to Japan. I enrolled and graduated from the Tokyo Announce Seiyu Academy. However, I was still unsure of how to actually start my career. One day during the state of emergency, I mustered up the courage to buy a mic, and just start. And, well, here I am today. My dream is finally coming true, little by little, and I am so thankful and excited! I can't wait for what is yet to come!

　アメリカ生まれ、アメリカ育ちの日本人です！小さい頃からずっと家の中では日本語、外では英語を喋っていました。

　昔からアニメが好きで観ていました。そして6年生の頃から選択授業で演劇を学び始め、魅了されました。その後、大好きなキャラクター達の声を演じる方々に注目し始め、一人の役者がこんなにも幅広い役を演じられる事に衝撃を受けました。それ以降、私は日本に引っ越して、声の表現や技術を学んで、声優になる事を決意しました。

　フロリダ大学芸術学科演劇部を卒業して、日本へ引っ越しました。すぐさま東京アナウンス声優アカデミーに通い始め、卒業までお世話になりました。しかし、具体的にどうやってキャリアを始めるかまだわかりませんでした。緊急事態宣言中のとある日、勇気を振り絞って取り敢えずマイクを買って、始めてみました。そして、今に至ります。夢がちょっとずつ叶っていて、本当に感謝感激雨霰です！これから何が起こるかも楽しみで仕方がありません！

I graduated early with BA in theatre, minor in Spanish, and a TESL certificate!

TOKYO ANNOUNCE SEIYU ACADEMY

I enrolled and graduated from voice acting school in Tokyo!

Skills acquired: pronunciation, enunciation, acting, dubbing.
